This is a song about perspective. In relationships we can't always see a good picture of what is going on because we are so wrapped up on what we see from the inside. "Rolling Chairs" is a story about a man who has finally come to grips with the fact that the women he loves is not good for him and he will not be buying into her bullshit anymore. Regardless of the lies, the stories and the deceit, she still looks perfect in every way to this young man. But on this final time she fly's the coupe, she comes back looking a little different. She actually looks as if she has jumped from a train and got seriously messed up. Her looks finally live down to all of the horrible things she has put this man through. And he "ain't taking her back again".
lyrics
I can't believe she did it again
She broke the bank
And jumped from the train
Now she ain't looking quite the same
Her arm, in her ear
Her leg, was her head was
Her heart, in her ass
It's a shame all that she does
I ain't taking her back again
Held up inside of
Windows that break, shove
I can't believe she's done it again
She broke the bank
And jumped from the train
Now she ain't looking quite the same
Advance down the straight lines
Razors that pass time
Surprised what you find
Empty as your mind
